He is survived by: his wife Esther L. Hipp (Kuykendall); his son Michael Carl Hipp (Fran) of Maysville, WV; his grandchildren, Brandy Masters, Rebecca Bowen, Jeremy Hedrick, Shawn Hevener, Amanda Watson and Wesley Hedrick; his great grandchildren, Christian Hipp, Makaylah Hipp-Campos, Riley Bowen, Noah, Jacob Masters, Islabelle Howke, Kambriah, Bryce, Brielle Watson, Adalyn Hevener, Alaina, Hunter Hedrick, Tenley and McKenley Hedrick; and his siblings, Helen Lucille Turner (Bruce) of Cabins, WV and Denver Lee Hipp (Patsy) of Shepherdstown, WV..
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
