With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin Clay Richardson Jr. of Petersburg, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 80. As Calvin Clay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Calvin Clay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Calvin Clay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Clay Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Richardson (Brown); his wife Tammy Lynn Richardson (George); and his siblings, Gene Richardson and Debbie Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vivian Hickman (Raymond) of Yulee, FL, Ashley Otto (Mike) of Baltimore, MD and Roxane Kable (DJ) of Baltimore, MD; and his sister Phyllis Evans (Tom) of Newark, DE. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; and 9 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home (501 N Fork Hwy, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
