He is survived by: his wife Leta Mae Shirk (Nesselrodt); his sons, Roger Shirk of Petersburg, WV, Rick Shirk (Peggy) of Petersburg, WV, Bryson Shirk, Jr. (Alice) of Petersburg, WV, Robert Shirk (Heidi) of Petersburg, WV and Brian Shirk (Heather) of Petersburg, WV; his brother John Shirk of Arthur, WV; and his half-brothers, Olie Shirk of Moorefield, WV, Jack Shirk of Upper Tract, WV, Carl Shirk of Upper Tract, WV, Dale Shirk of Upper Tract, WV and Dave Shirk of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
