She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Yokum and Edna Mae Yokum (McUlty); her husband Dayton R. Smith; her grandson Devin Lee Alt; and her brother Harlan Yokum.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri L. Kimble (Ricky) of Maysville, WV; her grandchildren, Derek Alt (Darice) of Petersburg, WV and Danielle Thompson (Andrew) of Dorcas, WV; her great grandchildren, Easton Thompson and Kyleigh Thompson; her brother Eulis Yokum (Beverly) of Petersburg, WV; and her sister-in-law Linda Yokum of Morgantown, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
