It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arleta N. Helmick of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Clover Helmick and Elsie Helmick (Reel) of Virginia; her son Jeff "Meat" Helmick; and her siblings, Cleta Helmick, Dorothy Phillips, Stanley Helmick and Paul Helmick.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Helmick (Linda) of Petersburg, WV and Melissa Cooper; her grandchildren, Kathy Vance (Chris), Ashley Canterbury (Gary), Tasha Bergdoll (Jason), Ian Williams and Jeffrey Helmick (Devon); and her sister-in-law Mary Helmick (Carl VanMeter) of Petersburg, WV.
