It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Marie Williams of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Rumsey Borror; her siblings, Juanita Mullenax, Wanda Stump and Rick Stonestreet; her former husband Kenneth P. Kimble; and her daughter Karen Stark (Kimble).
She is survived by: her daughter Kris; her husband David J. Williams; her daughters, Kristi Poland (Steve) and Kimberly Blankenship (Eric) of Petersburg, WV; her son-in-law Darius Stark; her grandchildren, Amanda Blankenship, Emily Stark, Rachel Stark (Jordan Snell) of Petersburg, WV, Jessica Brosius (Frank) of North Carolina, Maggie Clovis of Cross Junction, VA, Tesia McGuire, Bentley, Karson Blankenship and Matt Clovis; her great grandchildren, Graysen Ball, Michael Brosius, Etheny Brosius, Zoey Williams and Rowan Brosius; her siblings, Warren Paul Borror (Frieda), Betty Jean Kesner and Sandy Riggleman (Slick); and her stepchildren, Jenny Clovis (Bret), Melvin Williams (Pamela) and Davy Williams (Susan). She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren, dear friends.
Though in the last two years of her life, having battled COVID-19, long Covid symptoms, and then later recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of terminal acute myeloid leukemia, Alma never let her health conditions limit her zest for life or dampen her spirit.
