He is survived by: his wife Eva Gawthrop (Perine); his children, Robert Gawthrop (Casey) of Michigan, Daniel Gawthrop (Amber) of Wilsonburg, WV, Shawn Gawthrop (Wendy) of Salem, WV, Josh Gawthrop (Staci) of Good Hope, WV, Eric Greathouse (Michelle) of Oxford, WV, Kevin Greathouse (Angie) of West Union, WV and Hope Swiger (Shawn) of Lost Creek, WV; his siblings, Richard Gawthrop (Mary) of Marion County, WV, Chuck Gawthrop of Clarksburg, WV and Betty Hinkle of Fairmont, WV; his brother-in-law Randy McCray of Mt. Clare, WV; and his close friends, Pat and Steve Honce of Belington, WV.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
