It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Lee Zinn (Pennsboro, West Virginia), born in Petroleum, West Virginia, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Geer and Grace Geer (Boston); her husband Virgil D. Zinn; her sons, Darrell Zinn and Jerry Geer; her stepdaughter Brenda Painter; and her siblings, Olin Geer, Sr., Frank Geer, Calvin Geer, Anna Wilson and Opal Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald McKinney of Richmond, VA, Fred McKinney (Sharon) of Pullman, WV, Linda McKinney of Maysel, WV, Cinda Adkins of Ashland, KY and Sherri McKinney; her stepdaughters, Delores De Pew of Monroe, OH, Donna Link of Boiling Springs, NC and Cathy Pretty of Wellington, NC; and her sister Ruth Vanfossen (John) of Petroleum, WV.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
