She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hefner and Mamie Hefner (Bennett); her husband Jackie "Jack" Thomas; her daughters, Valerie James and Teresa Thomas; her siblings, Claude Hefner, Jr., Opel Gregg, Nellie Owens and William Hefner; and her grandson Darren Haddox.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Thomas, Jacqueline "Jackie" Collins, Charlotte Jones, Rhonda Thomas, Matthew Thomas and Ruth Seese; and her sister Ruth Moffatt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
