With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilda Louise Tyree of Pax, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Meadows and Bessie Coots Meadows; her husband Alfred G. Tyree; her sister Betty Meadows Potter; her brothers-in-law, Webster Wriston, Paul Potter and Roy Dolinger; and her son-in-law W. Dale Hoke.
She is survived by: her children, David L. Tyree of Pax and Jo Lynn Tyree Hoke of Oak Hill; her sisters, Wanda Wriston of Oak Hill, Mary Dolinger of Creedmoor, NC and Loretta Holley (James) of Fayetteville; her granddaughters, Cynthia Tyree of Knoxville, TN and Elizabeth Tyree of Pax; her great grandchildren, Kathryn Smith (Hunter) of Pax and Nathan Yurkovich of Beckley; and her great great grandchildren, Oliver Lee and Lily Emma Smith of Pax.
