It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tracy Eugene Bailey of Pax, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbit Bailey and Susie Weaver Bailey; his wife Ruby Bailey; and his siblings, Patricia Bailey and Roy E. Bailey.
He is survived by: his close friend Rosie Elliot of Prosperity; his siblings, Gracie Holley of Pax, Clyde Bailey (Cleo) of Princewick and William Bailey (Paula) of Charleston; his uncle Herman Wines (Florabelle) of Pax; his cousin Sandra Kaye Stover of Butte, MT; and his stepchildren, Mary Valentine of Gloucester, VA. and Eddie Hunt of Gloucester, VA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Mount Hope (701 Co Rte 21/12, Mt Hope, WV 25880). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Pax Community Cemetery.
