It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruben Morris Humberson of Patterson Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morris Humberson and Rubena Humberson (Lowdermilk); his siblings, Stanton, Richard, Wade, Ward, Harold Humberson, Ramona Campbell, Dorothy Workman, Emogene Farthing, Lavona "Patty" Shaheen, Lois Humberson and Virgina Pomplas; and his half-siblings, Raymond, George Thomas, Orval, Charles Humberson, Helen Lohman, Ruth Franks and Audra Humberson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Humberson (Miner); his children, Charles "Chuck" Humberson (Darla) and Laura Chaney (Dale); his grandchildren, Heather Chaney, Mitch, Derek Humberson, Misty, Brittany Stickley, Travis, Tyler Humberson, Karly Amick and Nick; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Drake, Brogan Humberson and Harper Stickley; and also Ann Merkel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
