He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Mitchell Welker, Sr. and Hazel Marie Welker Taylor (Ash); his siblings, Lloyd M. Welker, Jr. and Blanche Lorraine Welker Davis; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Edward Davis and DeWarren O'Neal, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Doris "Dorie" W. Dayton Welker; his children, David M. Welker (Esperanza), Douglas T. Welker and Dawn M. Welker Weber (Kelly); his grandchildren, Chad A. Welker (Teresa) and Sabrina C. Welker of Kathleen, M. E; his sisters-in-law, Mary Welker and Barbara O'Neal; and his grandsons, Greg Welker, Jeff Welker, Jeff O'Neal, Rick Davis, Chad Welker, Jeff Weber and Aiden Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
