He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Louise Champ; his daughter Debra Johnson; and his siblings, Geraldine Howell and Dale Johnson. He is survived by: his son Steven Lee Johnson (Marlene) of Columbus; his grandsons, Joseph Johnson and Aaron Johnson; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Finley and Brody Johnson; and his daughter Cheryl Ann Clark (Jeff) of Louisville.
