She was predeceased by: her parents, Baden Varner and Alice Day Varner; her husband Franklin Delano Mullenax, Sr.; and her siblings, Carl, Delbert Worth Varner, Shirley Parsons and Annabelle Pifer.
She is survived by: her children, Franklin Delano Mullenax, Jr. (Diana) of Sugarlands, Deborah Lynn Knotts of Sugarlands and Sylvia Diane Mullenax of Elkins; her brother Fred Varner of Barbour Co; her grandchildren, Travis Mullenax (Katie), Lynne Sandell (Shelbe), Tammy Hedrick, Sarah Rothenburgh, Briana Mullenax and Lexie Simons; and her great grandchildren, Addyson, Macey, Lillian Sandell, Sommer McCord (Elijah), Sidney, Sean Simmons, Landon Plum, Peyton and Carter Richardson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home - Parsons (312 Main St, Parsons, WV 26287). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
