He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Grace Winifred Metz (Butcher); his wife Mary Elizabeth Kelley Metz (Tennant); his brother Ralph Metz; and his sister-in-law Jerri Metz.
He is survived by: his children, Joanna Kelley, Randy "Banjo" Kelley (Ruby) and Pam Kelley; his grandchildren, Kelli Roby (Mike Harding), Kristie Mayfied (Chad), Kimmi White (Jeremy), Melissa Kelley (Chad Wells), Randy "Bubby" Kelley Jr. (Aileen), Jordan Fenner (Rebecca) and Elizabeth Fenner; and his siblings, William Metz, Thomas Metz (Judy) and Darla Brown (Tim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and his adopted family.
