He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Willard "Sweetie" Harper, Sr. and Carol Jean Propst Harper; his brothers, Paul "Button" Harper Jr. and Elmer Pat Shaffer (Becky); his grandson Jarrett; his aunt Sally Propst; his mother-in-law Eva; and his grandmother Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Sue Slavin Harper; his daughters, Heather E. Harper and Sarah Harper Hicks (Jonathan); his siblings, Paula Jean McDonald (Artie) of Kerens, Betty Lynn Pullins (Stu) of Columbus, OH, Larry Allen "Mike" Shaffer (Brenda) of Parsons and Joseph Allen Harper of Parsons; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Jacey, Addie, Katie, Liam and Peyton.
