He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Arthur Boyle and Alma "Katherine" Rosier Boyle; and his daughter Misty Lynn Kencel. He is survived by: his son Richard Edward Kencel, Jr. (Joyce) of Winchester, VA; his brother Michael Charles Boyle; his grandchildren, Lance, Caleb and Eilish; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Emberly and Ean.
