He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Rudolph Buddingh and Carol Evelyn Vanzee Buddingh; his son Mark Wade Buddingh; his stepson Rocky Allen Rhodes of Md; and his siblings, Jan Karl Buddingh and Nancy Sue Buccieri.
He is survived by: his children, James Mathew Buddingh (Jenay) of California, Carla Jean Buddingh of California, Daliah Ann Buckley of California and Pamela Lynn Kolat (Bulant) of California; his stepchildren, Douglas Clay Rhodes, Rebecca Ann Kimes (Bill) and Sherill Lynn Teung (John); and his sisters, Carol Ahern of Santa Anna, California and Dorothy Fjeld (Jack) of Santa Anna, California. He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandchild; twelve step-grandchildren; seventeen step-great grandchildren; and several step-great great grandchild.
