She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Mullenax and Crystal Mullenax; and her grandson James Michael Cassell. She is survived by : her husband Michael Douglas; her children, James "Richie" Cassell (Abby), Crissy Lambert and Traci Beckner (David Beckner); her foster daughter Ella Woodhouse; and her siblings, Michael Mullenax, Sonya Hess (late Ray Hess) and Kelly Sager (Mike).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Gospel Church.
