It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Rae Irons of Parsons, West Virginia, born in Bretz, West Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Davis and Blanche Knotts Davis; her husband Alvin Willard Irons; and her sisters, Mary Katherine Kochenderfer and Leona George of Virginia.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Jackie Pritt (Dirk) of Philippi; her stepgranddaughter Skyler Lamb of Parsons; and her siblings, Donald Davis (Vickie) of Gerrardstown, WV, Hilda Kochenderfer (James) of Hambleton, Norma Jean Summerfield of Hambleton and Blanche "Bunny" Simmons (Thomas) of Montrose. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
