He is survived by: his wife Merry Ellen Tompkins (Kennedy); his daughters, Amanda Tompkins and Jennie Tompkins (Micheal Minton); his siblings, Nick Tompkins (Kim), Marylu Moats and Diana Mullenax (Frank); his uncle Sherman Kardatzke; his aunt Midgie Garner; and his pets, Sugar, Kiara and Candy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
