Sams II; her brother Creed Hicks of Belpre, OH; her sisters-in-law, Lorna Wright of Belleville and Wanda Dille of Mineral Wells, WV; her children, Diane Romine (John) of Parkersburg, WV, Ralph Sams (Krista) of Albany, OH and Raymond Sams of Belleville, WV; her grandchildren, Stacy Shephard (Emory) of Lancaster, OH, Ralph Sams IV (Allison) of Amanda, OH, Robert Sams (Leanne) of Jackson, OH, Amanda Kress (Nick) of Havelock, NC, Michele Sams of Albany, OH, Erica Swart (Justin) of Albany, OH and Maggie Reutzel of Albany, OH; her great grandchildren, Ashley Norris (Chris), Teagan Hughes, Braden Shephard (Harley), Rylan Sams, Keaton Shephard, Emily Shephard, Daelyn Sams, Michael Kress, Gabe Schnider, Cameron Swart, Evan Swart, Brennen Swart, Ralph Sams V and Nora Swart; and her great great grandchildren, Averley Norris, Alayna Norris, Ezeriah Shephard and Isaiah Shephard. She is also survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (1934 Dupont Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
