He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Parks and Gladys Gilmore Parks; his siblings, Walter Nathaniel Parks, Wilbur Glenn Parks, Ernest Dale Parks, Ruth Louise Parks Rodgers, Mary Evelyn Parks Maze and Patricia Pearl Parks Hazelton; and his daughters, Wanda Parks Headley and Sharon Hamilton Shriver.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Thompson (Bob Doak) of Newport, OH, Donna DeGarmo (Charlie) of Lenexa, Mike Parks (Sonja) of New Bern, Cathy Midkiff (Eddy) of Charleston, Larry Parks (Jean) of Winfield, Debbie Braniff (Maynard) of New Martinsville, Patricia Parks of Parkersburg, WV and Bill Parks (Sheila) of Parkersburg, WV.; and his stepchildren, Carolyn, Kevin and Sherry. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a few great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (600 Main St, Sistersville, WV 26175). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
