He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Woody and Leah Woody (Arnold); and his siblings, Judy Powell and Jim Woody. He is survived by: his wife Carole Woody (Watson); his daughters, Ann Ruckman of Montgomery, WV, Susan Albright (Jay) of Ripley, WV and Janet Brooks (Greg) of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Megan Loy, Matthew Groves (Victoria), Leah Lanning (Sam), Allison Brooks, Sarah Brooks and Evan Brooks; and his great grandchild Orson Groves.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Red Cross or Parkersburg Humane Society.
