He was predeceased by: his father Ulysses S. Dye, Jr.; his wife Barbara Ann Weaver Dye; his sister Nancy Simmons; and his brother-in-law Norman Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Lawson Dye; his stepson Robert Goff (Jeannie) of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Claira Goff and Ashlee Goff Hardesty (Kyle); his aunt Kay Eichhorn; and his cousins, Gary Eichhorn, Alice Eichhorn and Mike Dawkins.
