He is survived by: his wife Janet Heritage of Parkersburg; his daughter Elizabeth Carpenter; his granddaughter Aspen of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.; and his sister Marilyn Ford (Mark) of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
