He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley C. George and Delphia George (Butcher); his son-in-law Richard "Rick" Turner; and his siblings, Lynn, Dana, Henry George and Marie Fultz.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey B. George (Louk); his children, Wayne George (Lisa) of Mineral Wells, Tara Patterson (Brent) of Davisville, WV and Sonya Turner of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Rick George (Janell), Tiffany Zaroda (Devon), Tina Beatty (Ed), Jennifer George (Tim), Trica Jones (Jeremy) and Shandy Skinner (Lidia); his great grandchildren, Caydence, Parker, Lilly-Ann, Owen Sherlock, Clayton, Alexis, Tyler and Clark; and his friends, Glen Goff and Debbie Gard.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
