She was predeceased by: her guardian Anna Lou Thomas; her aunt Carolyn Thomas; and her great-aunt Dorothy Williams. She is survived by: her children, Cameron Michael Day (Rachel Graham), Sadie Tayahna Day and Ava Renee Day; her siblings, Tysheba Robinson, Latoya Wright, Jessica Casey, Jesse Casey, Jeris Casey, Juliette Casey and Evelyn Casey; and her aunts, Dorothy Bryant and Ina Willis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in financial support of Tay's children, either to Leavitt Funeral.
