She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry "Pappy" Yocum and Opal Mae Roberts Yocum; her husband Herman Earl Starling; and her siblings, JoAnn McDowell, Emma Vincent of Parkersburg, Ronald, Donald and William Yocum of Parkersburg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen McKibben (Mike) of Lady Lake, FL and Patricia Graham (Greg) of Charles Town, WV; her grandsons, Timothy McKibben of Lady Lake, FL, Jacob Graham of Charles Town, WV and Trenton McKibben (Felicia); and her great grandchildren, Addison and Treston of Kingsland, GA..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Charles Town Baptist Church (222 S Mildred St, Charles Town, WV 25414). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (4799 Waverly Rd, Williamstown, WV 26187).
