He is survived by: his mother Mary Evelyn Gardner (Wathen) of Elizabethtown, KY.; his wife Susan Gardner (Moore); his children, Jon Bradley Gardner of Parkersburg and Stacy Gardner-Dabbs (Preston) of Vienna; his granddaughter Emma Dabbs; his brothers, Phil Gardner (Phyllis) of Riegelsville, PA and David Gardner (Amy) of Franklin, KY; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Gardner of Waverly, WV, Carol Morris of Parkersburg, Nancy Sprout (Mike) of Parkersburg and Linda King (Clif) of Spokane, WA..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
