He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Davis and Ruth K. Davis; his wife Nisha Louise Davis; his siblings, Linda Taylor, Rodney Davis (Patricia), Roberta Catherine and Howard Davis; his grandparents, Murrlen, Mamie Davis, Nellie and Wimer; and his parents-in-law, Margaret and Clyde McClain.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Davis, Monalisa Davis Uppole and Robert "Bobby" Davis (Briania); his grandchildren, Breeanna Moore (Zack Henline), Whitley Uppole Dotson (Gunnar), Blake Uppole and Addysen Davis; his nieces and nephews, Amie Perry (Alan), Felicia Adkins (Daniel), Dennis Davis (Jessica) and John Boy Taylor; and also, Rodney and Nancee Barney.
