She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton R. Kester and Goldie Mahaney Morrell; and her husband Jim Riser. She is survived by: her sons, Scott and Shawn; her grandsons, Issac, Luke and Noah; her stepgrandson Gabe; and her siblings, Cassie Marshall, Juanita Veon and Frank Lee Kester.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Freewill Baptist Church (1777 Rosemar Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26105).
