He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Spence and Mary Smith Spence; his wife Pamela Sue Griffin Spence; and his sister Bonnie Prunka. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gina Meredith (Brian) of Parkersburg and Justin Atkinson of Vienna; his siblings, Greg Spence (Karla), Jennifer Spence (Bob), Deva Faith, Tim Spence (Cathy), Grace Maguire (Bernie), David Spence (Mary), Michael Spence (Anita) and Paul Spence (Nuvia); and his brother-in-law Tim Prunka. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
