He was predeceased by: his parents, Prynce J. Stevens and Rosa L. King Stevens; and his brothers, Willie Ramsey, Henry Ramsey, Elanda Ramsey and O'dell Ramsey.

He is survived by: his children, Keosha Wallace, Emanii Ramsey, Shanique Howard, Jerome Ramsey Jr. and Jeremiah Ramsey; and his siblings, Nancy Ramsey-Leisure, Floyd Ramsey, Rufus Ramsey, Carlos Ramsey and Clyde McClarty. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
