He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Batton and Vera Hazel Lawrentz Batton; his wife Hazel I. Batton; his brothers, Bill Batton and Dean Batten; and his girlfriend Willa Lea Grimm.
He is survived by: his children, Sondra McIntosh (Robert) of Marietta, Brian Batton (Teresa) of Davisville and Joe Batton of Charleston; his grandchildren, Jason Westfall, Brandon Batton (Jennie) and Ashley Delo (Zachary); his great grandchildren, Allie Westfall (Anthony), Gavin Westfall, Mason Westfall, Marlee Delo, Brynlee Delo, Ella Batton, Kinsley Batton and Madison Batton; his great great grandchild Theo Kimbrough; and his sister Norma Curfman of Boaz.
