It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie I. Davis of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Leon, West Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Glenn King and Lena Leota King (Coast); her former husband John Harrison Rice, Jr.; her husband Conrad Leroy Davis; her daughter Janet Raye Gainer (Rice); her siblings, Margaret Louise Smith, Lucy Louise Finely, Iva Pearl Campbell, Helen Mae "Dolly" Shinn, Clifford George King and Robert King; and her half-brother Harold King.
She is survived by: her daughter Cora "Ann" Heck (Elmer) of Buckhannon, WV; her granddaughter Dr. Kelly Goheen (Craig) of Gainesville, FL; her sisters, Rosalie Rogers of Glenn Arm, MD and Betty Coleman of Plain City, OH; and her son-in-law Stephen Gainer of Parkersburg, WV..
