She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Hughes and Lula Hughes (Starcher); her husband Gerald D. Maze; her daughter Donna Grogg; her grandson Dustin Grogg; and her sister-in-law Bev Hughes (B. J.).
She is survived by: her son Anthony Maze (Michelle) of Parkersburg, WV; her grandchildren, Valerie Gates (Dave), Justin Maze (Kaylee), Brianna Maze and Zac Deem; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Maze and Olive Gates; her brothers, Kenneth Hughes (Della M.) of Mineral Wells, WV and Orval Hughes Jr. (Charlotte) of Elizabeth, WV; her brother-in-law Hale Maze (Darlene) of Parkersburg; her friends, Donna, Jim Walters and Dwight Mace; and her children-in-law, Mike Grogg and Michele Hess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
