He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willard Newton, Sr. and Alice E. Newton. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, James Newton (Dolly), Jeffrey Newton, Jennifer Dynda (James), Joyanna Jobes (Jeff) and Jeremy Newton; his siblings, Eleanor Westfall and Richard Newton (Nancy); his grandchildren, Nathan, Taylor, John, Daniel, Josh, Mary, Bennett and Maddox; and his great grandchildren, Jensen and Lainey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Actors Guild of Parkersburg, the West Virginia Soccer Association, or the Parkersburg Art Center.
