He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carl and Mary Catherine Smith Oesterle. He is survived by: his children, EJ Oesterle of Greensboro, MD and Elizabeth Dawn Oesterle of Vienna; his brother Rich Oesterle; and his nieces, Angie Maloney of Belpre and Michelle McLendon of Parkersburg.
