He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blaine and Helen Deloris Wigal Sheppard; and his sister Rebecca Sheppard Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Helen Lea Taggart Sheppard; his children, Angela Dawn Mendoza (Melvin) and William Blaine Sheppard (Angela); his granddaughters, Alexandra Mendoza DeBrular (Zack), Allison Mendoza (Justin Sams), Ariel Sheppard and Annabelle Sheppard; and his sister Judith Hall (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
