It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Winderweedle (Parkersburg, West Virginia), born in Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on November 30, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent John Cowan; and her siblings, William H. Cowan and Elizabeth Cowan. She is survived by: her parent Mary Cowan (Bowker); her spouse Bill Winderweedle; her children, Alan K. Winderweedle (Donna) of Richmond, VA, Jane D. Bonolis of Royal Oak, MD and Linda P. L'Esperance (Eric) of Littleton, NC; and her sisters, Norma J. Smith of Parkersburg and Beverly O. Lippman of Boaz. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
