He was predeceased by: his father Donald Levi Thorn; his former wife Betsy Thorn (Haverty); his wife Connie Thorn; his daughter Jamie Lynn Thorn; and his brother William Thorn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly McGinnis (Jeff) of Baxter, WV and Melinda Blosser (Charlie) of Parkersburg; his grandson Tyler McGinnis (Leigha) of New Salem, PA; his great grandchild Annabel Dukich McGinnis of Fairmont, WV; and his sister Shelbia Queen (Bob) of Longview, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
