He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Orland Carder and Ella Mae Carder (Leatherwood); and his wife Chong Yim Pak Carder. He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Cross; his sons, James Carder (Elizabeth) of Nashville and Shaune Carder (Vivian) of Parkersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Jude Carder, Ezra Carder, Isla Carder and Amari Carder; and his siblings, Linda Platt, Ella Wigal, Sherry Phillips and Tommy Carder.
