It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Lenora May (Parkersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Lemley and Elsie L. Lemley; her brother Lester; her husband Robert Vernon May; and her daughter Becky Lenora Low.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty McClung of Leesburg, FL and Ileene Lemley (Ed) of Vienna, WV; her daughters, Verna M. Huber (Clayton) of Parkersburg and Karen L. May of White House, TN; her grandchildren, Gary Low (Shawn) of Ravenswood, Konni Jacobs (Jamie) of Hopewell, VA, Aaron Low (Carlen) of Richmond, KY, J. C. Huber (Aili) of Dayton, VA, Kelli Huffman (Mark) of Fayetteville, GA, Katie Smith (Jeremiah) of Russell, KY and Kassi Adkins (Justin) of Parkersburg; her great grandchildren, Callie, Annie, Emmie, Griffin Low, Ava Low, Olivia, JJ, Elizabeth Jacobs, Silas, Petra Huber, Emilyn, Claire Huffman, Elora and Elsie Smith; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Christian Kaftanic (Gigi) and Mackenzie Kaftanic; and also Robert Low (Marcia). She is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
