Gladys Alvis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2018, at the age of 87, Gladys Alvis (Parkersburg, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent David McKinley; her former husband Donald Earlow Linger; her son David Linger; and her siblings, David Bartlett, Florence Barker and Mickey Collins.
She is survived by: her parent Violet Wilson Bartlett; her husband George F. Alvis; and her daughters, Yolanda Garner (Herschel) of Risen, AR, Kathy Ann Linger (Paula Rieder) of Pittsburgh, PA, Carmen Lynn James (Jeff) of Granville, OH and Rita Ernst (David) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
