He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Galland and Livna Byrl Cline Galland. He is survived by: his wife Sue Conrad Galland; his siblings, Dolly Agiaga (Phil), Livna Sprout (Edwin), Herbert Galland (Sarah), Robert Galland (Donna) and Edward Galland (Elizabeth); and his grandson Logan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
