With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Jean Schaffer of Parkersburg, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 77. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul J. Hess and Ina Margie Runyon Hess; her caregiver Camden Clark Hospital; her husband Richard P. Schaffer; her sons, David Schaffer (Mary) of Coolville and John Paul Schaffer of Parkersburg; her sisters, Carol Coffey of Minneapolis, MN, Mary Dawson (Stan) of Atlanta, GA and Paula Doerr (Lanny) of Elkins, WV; and her grandchildren, Jay and Ella Schaffer of Coolville.
