She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Dickerson and Alice Reynolds Dickerson Linger; her stepfather Harold Linger; her children, Rose Hose and William Robert Cain; and her brothers, Robert, Luke and Paul Dickerson.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Shuman (Jim) of Vienna, Christina Gulley of Vienna, John Cain (Peggy) of Waverly, Paul Cain of Parkersburg and James Lemley (Angie) of Rockport; and her sisters, Margaret Taylor of Parkersburg, Sarah Haines (Jim) of Parkersburg, Martha Harris of Parkersburg and Georgia Jones of Clarksburg. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
