With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Lea Ruble of Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley D. Elliott and Iva A. Dotson Elliott; her husband Raymond Ruble; her grandchildren, Jason and Joey Gaston; and her siblings, Nellie Dailey, Margie Starcher, Lucille Hoce, Marcella Garretson, Mary and Howard Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, James F. "Jim" Elliott (Gretchen) of Houston, TX and Tammy Gaston (Buddy) of Parkersburg; her granddaughter Mistie Gaston-Smith of Wadesville; her great grandchildren, Brent, Andrew, Ashley, Claire and Ava Gaston; and her sister Shirley Ann Berlin of San Marcos, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
